Chris Jericho Training with an MMA Fighter Prior to AEW Double or Nothing

Former WWE and current All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Superstar Chris Jericho has been training with Ultimate Fighter season 1 alumni Josh Rafferty prior to his match with Kenny Omega at the AEW “Double or Nothing” event. For those unaware, Rafferty also helped Batista get ready for his match with Triple H at WrestleMania 35. He said.

“I just started Chris Jericho. He has a big match coming up, and I helped Batista for his big match at WrestleMania. That stuff is always fun for me.”

Rafferty has previously worked with Jack Swagger, Ivelisse, Sheamus, Samoa Joe and more.

When he was asked about wrestlers who might do well at a “Bloodsport” type of match, he said: “Samoa Joe or Jack Swagger would be great at that. Batista would kill it in that, he’d make for a very entertaining match.”
