Friday night’s episode of AEW Collision saw Darby Allin defeat Christian Cage in another fantastic main event. Following the match, Tony Schiavone came down to the ring to interview Allin. However, Cage and Luchasaurus would attack the former TNT Champion immediately.
Christian then got on the microphone and, under the implied threat of physical violence, forced Schiavone to count the pinfall as he mock-pinned Darby. Christian then implored Schiavone to announce the “victor,” with a disgusted Schiavone calling “winner, and still your TNT Champion, Christian Cage.”
Darby Allin has had a busy few weeks leading up to AEW All Out 2023, where he will challenge Luchasaurus for the TNT Championship.
