AEW EVP Cody Rhodes is no longer booked for tonight’s Battle of the Belts event.
During Friday night’s episode of AEW Rampage, it was announced that Rhodes is not medically cleared to compete and will be unable to defend his title against Sammy Guevara as originally planned. Due to this, an interim TNT Championship match has been booked between Guevara and Dustin Rhodes.
Also, Ricky Starks will defend the FTW Championship against Matt Sydal.
AEW Battle of the Belts will be a one-hour special that will air live on the TNT Network later tonight.
