As we noted earlier on the site, WWE will be holding a special live event on November 25th in Greensboro, North Carolina at the Greensboro Coliseum. This event is titled, WWE Live Starrcade. For those who don’t know, WCW held Starrcade for several years in the month of November but was moved to the month of December starting in 1988. You can see the lineup here.
Cody Rhodes took to Twitter to send a special message to WWE creative team writer Michael Hayes about his brother, Goldust, not being booked for the upcoming show. He pointed out that WWE is titling this live event after the famous WCW themed show out of fear that the event will not sell well due it taking place two days after Thanksgiving. He wrote the following:
