CZW alumnus Matt Tremont has announced that he will be retiring from the ring next month. The former CZW World Heavyweight took to Twitter today to announce that he’ll retiring after a series of matches and then working his final match against Rickey Shane Page for Hardcore Hustle Organization’s “The Last Extravaganza Weekend.” Tremont owns and operates H2O.
The Last Extravaganza Weekend takes place on October 30th and 31st in Williamstown, New Jersey.

ROH has named the alternates for the ROH Pure Title Tournament. They include Dak Draper and Brian Johnson and will work in the event of a competitor not being unable to take part. Announced for the tournament are PJ Black, Dalton Castle, Delirious, Jonathan Gresham, Kenny King, Jay Lethal, Tracy Williams, Josh Woods, Silas Young, David Finlay, Rocky Romero, Matt Sydal, Tony Deppen, Rust Taylor, Fred Yehi, and Wheeler Yuta. The brackets will be revealed on Monday.
ROH has confirmed that Matt Sydal, Gresham, King, and Williams will be doing Reddit AMAs over the next week to promote the tournament:
