WWE United States Champion Damian Preist has reached a new milestone with the title following this week’s RAW.
Last night, Priest defeated Shelton Benjamin in a non-title match and it was confirmed that he’ll defend the U.S Championship next week against Finn Balor.
Priest has now held the U.S. Title for 186 days, the longest reign since Dean Ambrose/Jon Moxley’s 351-day title run from May 2013 to April 2014.
Priest also now holds the record for the longest United States Championship reign with the current title design.
During his reign, Preist has defended against the likes of AJ Styles, Robert Roode, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Kevin Owens, Jeff Hardy, and others.
