Dave Bautista was asked on Twitter last week why he wasn’t voicing Drax in Marvel’s What If series, which is on Disney+.
The former WWE star noted that he wasn’t asked. Other Marvel actors also weren’t asked.

Marvel executive producer Brad Winderbaum said in an interview with Variety that there may have been a miscommunication.
“I saw that, too. It’s my understanding that everybody was asked in some way, shape or form, either through their agents or directly. I don’t know really what happened behind the scenes there, but certainly, we would have loved for him to be in the show. So there’s probably some miscommunication somewhere.“
