As we reported earlier here on eWn, Drake Maverick was released from WWE on Thursday. He joins John Morrison, the entire Hit Row faction, Jaxson Ryker, Shane Thorne, and Tegan Nox who were part of Thursday’s cuts.

As many of you know, Maverick was previously released from WWE during April of 2020 after some pandemic-related cuts. After he posted a very emotional video about his release, Triple H eventually rehired him.

Anyways, Maverick took to Twitter today following his latest WWE release and posted another video. In it, he said,

“So I just got off the phone with WWE talent relations letting me know that as of today, I’ve been released from my contract. The video then cuts to Maverick in a darkened room saying, “Look, you can’t pull this one again.” He eventually winds up in a room with “himself” and tells “him” to get up and he’ll be fine. He said, “They even tried to get rid of you, you made that work too!”

He continued, “I know we’ve been here before. We don’t belong here anymore!” He then said his dream wasn’t to be a WWE Superstar, but a professional wrestler and “you can’t be fired from wrestling!” The video ends with Maverick turning off his phone camera, then walking into a bathroom and splashing water on his face. He then took off his WWE shirt, and the phone buzzes. He looks at it, smiles, and walks off.
