In a recent interview with Cultaholic Wrestling, EC3 expressed his desire to update the side plates for the iconic NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship belt. He said,
“Definitely homage to classic. I’m not trying to ruin what made this thing so special but I think these side plates need an upgrade. Sure Mexico, Japan, Canada, UK, love them, great countries, but what about empires of the past? Who are the greatest leaders of history? That is kind of what EC3 and The Overman sees himself as. A Caesar perhaps, an Alexander, a Leonidas, a Jesus. That’s where I see the side plates kind of going.”
EC3 won the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship from Tyrus at the NWA 75th Anniversary Show this past August.

On Bryan Danielson: “He’s portrayed so humbly on social media and online, but the more he’s in AEW, the more stories come out about the jokester that this man is. He’s constantly trying to crack jokes.”
On Danielson throwing something at him: “Out of nowhere, I walk into the hallway. Him and PAC are both in pistol squat position and he asked me who had the better pistol squat and I couldn’t lie. I said it was PAC and he proceeded to throw something at my crotch and it hurt very bad, but it’s just one of the hilarious stories from Bryan Danielson in the back.”
