WWE Hall of Famer Edge is set to auction off his special ring gear from his final WWE SmackDown match against Sheamus to benefit Sami Zayn’s ‘Sami For Syria’ campaign. Zayn made the announcement on Twitter, writing,

“Edge is a fantastic guy.

Much [Love] @EdgeRatedR

Stay tuned for a link to bid soon”

On a recent edition of his ‘Wrestling With Freddie’ podcast, Freddie Prinze Jr. paid tribute to the late Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda), labeling him as the “last attraction wrestler” in the wrestling industry.

Wyatt passed away after suffering a heart attack while asleep at his home on August 24, 2023, at the age of 36.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On Wyatt’s creativity: “[Bray was] such a creative young man. I had planned a lot of my wrestling promotion around him before he re-signed with WWE. He and I had been in discussions for that. Just a real special human being from what I knew of him. We weren’t close friends, but we were working acquaintances. I know we respected one another. There was a movie I was thinking about doing that had a role that he liked a lot, playing the role of a carny. He’ll be missed.”

On Wyatt being the ‘last attraction wrestler’: “There’s nobody that can fill that void, unfortunately.”
