Earlier this week, WWE Hall of Famer Edge was advertised to appear on SmackDown 1000 to host a special edition of his talk show. However, WWE.com is no longer advertising the talk show segment as taking place. It’s possible that his appearance has already been nixed.
WWE is slated to hold the SmackDown 1000 episode on October 16, 2018 at the Capital One Arena in Washington DC, which will be celebrating the nearly 20-year history of SmackDown. As noted, WWE is planning to load up the show and bring in several stars from the past, similar to Raw 1000.
