Following an incident where ESPN radio host Amin Elhassan blasted the video Kevin Owens posted on social media of Owens’ son reacting to his father’s Universal title victory on RAW, Elhassan has now apologized for a tweet he posted in response to the video. Elhassan was highly criticized for the Twitter response to the video, which said, “Until someone told him it was scripted.” Elhassan posted an apology several days later (see below). Kevin Owens tweeted out his own response to the apology:
Owens posted the tweet on Friday (September 2), a very short time Elhassan after shared his apology. You can check out Owens’ own tweet, which reads “I win” below.
I tweeted a joke about wrestling earlier this week and it was in poor taste. I sincerely apologize to kevin owens and his family.
