Last year, former WWE Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper expressed his displeasure at his usage in WWE, and formally requested his release. It was granted, and now it looks like he’s on his way to AEW.

According to the Wresting Observer Newsletter, Harper is expected to sign with AEW, use the Brodie Lee name and can legally start working for AEW starting February 12th. However, it is highly likely his debut will come on March 18th, where AEW is being held in his hometown of Rochester, NY.

AEW Revolution on February 29th, was noted as another possible starting date.
