GUNTHER’s reign as the WWE Intercontinental Champion has lasted for more than 500 days, surpassing the previous record set by The Honky Tonk Man. Notable victories during his reign include wins over Bronson Reed, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, and Chad Gable.
Unfortunately, due to strict United States residence regulations, GUNTHER cannot leave the country for six months, as revealed in a recent interview with Krone. This means he won’t be able to participate in WWE’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event in Australia next February.
The Krone article stated, “For the next six months, GUNTHER (his stage name), who lives in Orlando, is not allowed to leave the USA due to strict residence regulations, and is only allowed to perform within the States during this time.”
