At WWE Night of Champions 2023, GUNTHER fought off a valiant effort by Mustafa Ali to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
Willed on by the WWE Universe inside the Jeddah Superdome in Saudi Arabia, Ali put forth an exceptional effort, but was ultimately no match for perhaps the most dominant champion in WWE today.
GUNTHER now stands at 351 days as the Intercontinental Champion.
