Mikey Rukus, the man behind Adam Cole’s AEW entrance music, has commented on what the inspiration was for Cole’s new theme.
Taking to his Twitter account, Rukus revealed that it was a combination of Rage Against the Machine’s “Calm Like a Bomb”, as well as Cole’s ROH theme “Something for You” that inspired him. He said,
“I did not draw inspiration for Adam Coles new theme from the UE [Undisputed Era] theme. I felt the Rage [Against the Machine] vibe really fit him. Calm Like A Bomb, but slower. He loved “Something For You”, so I incorporated the drum beat from the verses. The lyrical delivery was a combo of both of those songs.”
