As many of you know by now, Tony Khan’s big announcement on this week’s episode of Dynamite was that we’ll be seeing an “AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door” event taking place on June 26th in Chicago, IL. The announcement wound up being interrupted by Jay White & Adam Cole.
While AEW President Tony Khan and NJPW President Takami Ohbari were about to announce a joint pay-per-view event, the segment was interrupted by Adam Cole who went on to reveal the details of the show himself.
Jay White then came out and announced that the event would be all about “The Undisputed Elite” and “The Bullet Club”.
Khan took to Twitter following Dynamite to issue the following statement:
“Very rude interruption @AdamColePro + @JayWhiteNZ tonight on #AEWDynamite, but what they said about June 26 is true. @AEW x @njpw1972 will present Forbidden Door on ppv LIVE from Chicago at the @UnitedCenter!
