The Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh hopes he will have the chance to prove himself by stepping in the ring with WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER.
On a recent edition of the “Irish Wrestling” podcast, McDonagh addressed a possible match with the Austrian whom he faced before WWE. He said,
“Listen, I know I’ve beaten WALTER (OTT Scrappermania 5) but GUNTHER seems like a different animal, he’s another guy who’s leveled up again. But that would be an interesting one to test myself and see if I’m as good as I was then.”
GUNTHER has held the Intercontinental Title since June of last year. In September, he broke the record for the longest individual title reign.
