We reported late last night here on eWn that there was a big backstage incident with Big Cass at a WrestlePro event in Rahway, New Jersey on Saturday night. Cass reportedly showed up at the show intoxicated and/or high on drugs and threatened to “take out the entire locker-room” on his own. There was one point during the evening that he went after Joey Janela due to an incident that occurred with Enzo “nZo” Amore at a Blink 182 concert several months ago. As noted earlier, Janela decided not to press charges and instead said he just wants the guy to get the help he needs.
Janela commented on the incident on Twitter today, saying it was “bizarre.” He said,
“Not gonna elaborate at all on this whole deal besides that it was probably the bizarre situation I’ve ever seen let alone been a part of in a wrestling locker room in 15 years, everything was cordial and friendly Friday and I hope the dude gets back on the right track.”
