As seen during Saturday night’s Impact Wrestling Hard to Kill pay-per-view event, Jonathan Gresham defended the original ROH World Championship against Chris Sabin. The match was contested under “pure rules” and the finish came when Gresham was able to get a bridging pin on Sabin.
Ring of Honor’s Ian Riccaboni was on commentary with Tom Hannifan and D’Lo Brown for the match. Also, Ring of Honor ring announcer Bobby Cruise did the ring introductions.
Following the match, both Gresham and Sabin hugged it out in the middle of the ring.
Gresham has held the title for 29 days, after defeating Jay Lethal at ROH Final Battle.
