Kevin Owens is extremely confident that his real-life best friend Sami Zayn will one day hold a WWE World Championship.
Zayn joined WWE in 2013 and is a former NXT and Intercontinental Champion.
Owens, who joined WWE a year later, dethroned Zayn as NXT Champion and has also held the Intercontinental, United States, and Universal titles.
During an appearance on The Happy Hour podcast, Owens addressed a possible World Title run for his fellow Canadian.
“I’m really looking forward to the night he wins, whether it be the Universal Title or whatever title, that he might win, and I get to share that with him as well. I’m sure it’s gonna happen sooner than later.”
Zayn is the “Honorary Uce” of the Bloodline and appears regularly alongside Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
