A pair of tournaments will get underway on next week’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.
On this week’s edition of the weekly blue brand show, WWE announced that next Friday night’s show on FOX will feature the start of the 2021 WWE King of the Ring tournament, as well as the 2021 WWE Queen’s Crown tournament.
A promo aired during this week’s show to formally announce the start of the tournaments on next Friday night’s program.
This marks the first King of the Ring tournament for WWE since Baron Corbin won the tourney back in 2019. It marks the first-ever Queen’s Crown tourney.
