According to Pwinsider.com, there will be a public visitation for the late Lance Russell at Memorial Park Cemetery (5668 Poplar Avenue) in Memphis, TN on Saturday at 11 AM. The visitation is at 11 AM because is the time that Memphis Wrestling went on the air on WMC-TV for decades. His family thought that’s what Russell would have wanted.
After the visitation, the family will be inviting fans to come celebrate Lance’s life at Jerry Lawler’s Bar and Grille (159 Beale St, Memphis, TN 38103) on Saturday at 3 PM.
Russell passed away yesterday at the age of 91. He suffered a broken hip over the weekend, sadly the same weekend his daughter passed away from cancer.
