Former WWE Superstar Lio Rush took to Twitter last night, announcing that he now owns the trademark to his ring name. For those unaware, Rush has used the same ring name before, during, and after his time in WWE. He said,
“I officially own the trademark for the name #LioRush. A name that I’ve worked under for many hard working years. Feels good”
Rush officially filed for the trademark back in January and received ownership on April 6th. There were agreements made between WWE, Rush, and Karl Anderson last year to transfer their trademark ownership of the ring names.
