Roxanne Perez defeated Blair Davenport in a Weapons Wild Match at Sunday night’s WWE NXT Great American Bash pay-per-view event.

In a post-match interview, Perez called herself the best female talent on the NXT roster. She said,

“I feel absolutely amazing. I feel like a freaking prodigy, that’s how I feel. I think I definitely proved a point to not only Blair Davenport, but to anybody else out there that has ever underestimated me. I’m not one to be underestimated. There’s a reason why they call me The Prodigy, and I’m not afraid to say that I am the best woman here in NXT.”

Dominik Mysterio retained the North American Championship against Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali at Sunday night’s WWE NXT Great American Bash pay-per-view event. Following the match, Dirty Dom and Rhea Ripley brushed past Shawn Michaels backstage.

However, the SVP of Talent Development Creative wasn’t the only person The Judgment Day ran into backstage. The heel duo came across Dragon Lee who Ripley referred to as a “Rey Mysterio wannabe.” Lee replied that he’d be honored to be anything like Rey. This caused Dominik to insult his father before leaving. You can check out a video of that segment below:

During a virtual signing for K&S Wrestlefest, Mike Rotunda revealed that he warned his sons, Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, about getting into the pro wrestling business. He said,

They toyed with the idea, and I warned them. They both wanted to try it so they did. Of course, kids never listen to what you tell them.

And finally, Britt Baker recently responded to a troll account on Twitter that called her out for a quote from 2021. The former AEW Women’s World Champion had made comments about the rumors that WWE didn’t hire independent wrestlers.

Baker clarified that the quote was taken out of context, and her tweet was in support of indie wrestling, not a shot at the WWE Performance Center.

Now, WWE Superstar Chelsea Green has expressed her support for Baker, noting that she herself is not a product of the Performance Center and is still successful in WWE. Green tweeted,

“Hold up. I’m absolutely not a product of the PC. Don’t put me in this list when you’re trying to come for my friend. 3/5 of those women were indy wrestlers.”
