AAA ran its 27th annual TripleMania event tonight on Twitch.
In a night that saw many crossover stars from AEW, IMPACT Wrestling, and even the UFC, a major retirement capped off the evening.
Blue Demon Jr. defeated Dr. Wagner Jr. in a Mask vs. Hair Match. After which, Wagner announced his retirement from the ring. In spite of this, Blue Demon Jr. vowed to keep pursuing his rival.
In other notable news, Kenny Omega challenged Fenix to a match for the AAA Mega Championship after The Elite lost to the Lucha Brothers and Laredo Kid.
Cain Velasquez was successful in his professional wrestling debut that saw him competing under a mask. Velazquez teamed with Cody Rhodes and Psycho Clown to defeat Texano, Taurus and Killer Kross.
IMPACT Wrestling’s Tessa Blanchard is now the AAA Reina de Reinas Champion. She captured the title in a TLC Match that featured Lady Shani, Taya Valkyrie, Faby Apache, Chik Tormenta, La Hiedra, and Ayako Hamada.
