According to Bryan Alvarez, the match between Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at SummerSlam “had a lot of time cut” due to time constraints. Alvarez noted that the Logan Paul and Miz match went longer than anticipated, which caused the SmackDown Women’s Title match to be cut down.
Logan Paul vs. The Miz reportedly went for 14 minutes and 15 seconds, while Rousey vs. Morgan lasted only 4 minutes and 34 seconds. Much of the matchup saw Rousey attacking Morgan’s arm and setting her up for the tap-out submission. However, Morgan would reverse Rousey’s armbar into a pinfall while still tapping before the three count.
That match had a lot of time cut because Miz and Logan went long. HOW ABOUT WE CUT SOME VIDEO PACKAGES INSTEAD OF TIME OFF MATCHES?
