NWA World Heavyweight Champion Matt Cardona has said he’ll defend the iconic ten pounds of gold against AEW’s Sting.
Cardona won the title earlier this month against Trevor Murdoch and is also the Impact Wrestling Digital Media Champion.
When a fan suggested Cardona should face Sting, even tagging AEW President Tony Khan in the tweet, the Champ threw out the challenge to the Stinger.
Sting is a two-time former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, having held the title in both WCW and TNA Wrestling.
Neither Sting nor Tony Khan have responded at this time.
