AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman was a recent guest of “WTF with Marc Maron,” and he criticized a WWE Hall of Famer’s skills on the mic.
MJF said that Goldberg would have a “panic attack” with a microphone in his hand. The former WWE Universal Champion was known more for his physical in-ring style than he was his promo ability.
Critiquing Goldberg’s skills, MJF said: “If you’re a Jew, you love MJF because, if you think about it, I’m really the first prolific world champion that just so happens to be Jewish in the history of the business that is good at talking and wrestling. Love Bill Goldberg to death, but you put a mic in front of his mouth, he kind of has a bit of a panic attack.”
