Several more independent wrestling promotions have cancelled their upcoming events due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Prestige Wrestling sent out the following:

“We are in a very unfortunate and scary situation. Right out of the gate we would like to say that our show in Tampa, Florida on April 2nd is unfortunately going to be cancelled. This is not only dream crushing for many within or company from the management team all the way down to the talent, but will also cause a major financial deficit for all of the team within Prestige Wrestling. Refunds will be issued as soon as we are able to make it happen.

Now, to address #PrestigeRoseland2 in Portland, Oregon. We will be POSTPONING this event and moving it to a later date. We are working hand in hand with the venue, the talent on the event and the sponsors to figure out a date that will be suitable to move this to and will update everyone immediately. As we have proven in the past when situations like this arise we will do everything in our power to go above and beyond and provide an even bigger event than originally planned.

Please bare with us as we work this situation out. Thank you so much for your understanding.

If there are any questions, comments or if you’d like to just discuss this situation we will be going live from the Prestige Wrestling Facebook page at 7:00 PM PST – Please join us there.”
