As seen during Saturday night’s Slammiversary pay-per-view event, Thunder Rosa made her return to Impact Wrestling, challenging Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship. Purrazzo wound up retaining her title in a hard fought match. According to a report from Fightful, Rosa’s surprise appearance had been planned for about a month and was kept quiet from most of the roster.
Rosa is not scheduled to appear at any of the upcoming Impact Wrestling TV tapings. It was said to have been a “one shot deal” for now.
