Week after week, Jeff Cobb interrupted the 2018 Top Prospect Tournament. Singlehandedly busting the bracket, Cobb took the ROH World Television Championship opportunity that is customarily given to the winner of the tournament and cashed it in in his very first ROH match. Cobb dismissed the dominant Punishment Martinez in under three minutes to capture the Championship in his very first ROH match.
By doing so, the Olympian and 2018 Battle of Los Angeles winner earned no new friends in the ROH locker. In fact, he earned the ire of a man who has been trying to carve his own path since entering ROH. In Philly, two behemoths meet for the very first time!

ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION JEFF COBB vs. SHANE TAYLOR
In one of the most talked about debuts in ROH history, before it even aired on television, Jeff Cobb dismantled Punishment Martinez to capture the ROH World Television Championship, breaking the grip of a dominant individual and champion.
