Here are some quick notes from the WWE NXT TakeOver XXV event on Saturday night:

The Velveteen Dream defeated Tyler Breeze in Breeze’s official return to NXT pay-per-view. Dream hit a “Dream Valley Driver” and “Purple Rainmaker” combo to retain the NXT North American title. Dream tried to bring the belt into the ring, but Breeze stopped him, handing it off to the referee which allowed Dream to slide in and hit his combo for the win. Following the match, Dream and Breeze posed for a selfie together.

The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) defeated The Undisputed Era (Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish), The Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake) and Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch in an amazing four-team ladder match to win the WWE NXT Tag-Team titles. The Viking Raiders recently vacated the titles after they were called up to the main RAW roster during the “Superstar Shakeup.”

Adam Cole also became the sixteenth WWE NXT champion, defeating Johnny Gargano. The match went for over forty minutes and Cole hit a Panama Sunrise and then the Last Shot to score the win. If you haven’t checked out this match or the ladder match, it’s must-watch stuff.
