It was reported in 2016 that Sony’s TriStar was creating a biopic about WWE Chairman Vince McMahon that is titled Pandemonium. WWE Studios is involved in the project as President Michael Liusi is one of the producers of the movie. At the time, it was noted that most of the initial draft of the film wasn’t historically correct and was expected to be heavily changed. Bradley Cooper had been offered the role of Vince McMahon in the movie.

The latest development about the movie possibly being made has surfaced online. Pwinsider.com reports that a new draft of the movie was completed and sent to WWE executives, including Vince, for feedback just last month.

If the script is approved, then it’s expected to be sent to Cooper for him to review it. Originally, the belief was that if all went as planned, then the film is expected to be shot in the Spring of 2018, but that didn’t happen. Now, there’s no word yet on when “Pandemonium” could begin filming.

John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot with Tina Fey) are set to direct the movie. Zaftig Films’ Charlie Gogolak will serve as Executive Producer while, and Aperture Entertainment’s Adam Goldworn will produce.
