While Christian Cage has been claiming that he’s the TNT Champion for a while now, it’s now official.
On Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision, Christian Cage defeated Darby Allin and Luchasaurus in a Triple Threat match.
The finish of the match came when Allin was able to separate the two and lay out Luchasaurus. This led to Cage throwing Allin out of the ring and pinning his dinosaur friend to win the match and capture the title. Cage then demanded that Luchasaurus put him on his shoulders, which the latter did. There was no turn from Luchasaurus here. So the storyline continues.
The win marks Cage’s first reign with the TNT title. Luchasaurus’ reign ends at 99 days.
