Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that tomorrow’s Bloodsport event may end up being the last for Davey Boy Smith Jr.
He is expected to return to WWE as he has been in active talks with the company, which is “not a secret.”
WWE is planning to do a Hall of Fame ceremony this year where Smith Jr will be inducting his father, the British Bulldog. NXT UK was the destination talked about the most a few months ago. He could end up anywhere, however.
Smith will face Jon Moxley at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 5.
