He appeared in a backstage segment with SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan and Chad Gable. Bryan informed Gable and Benjamin that they would be a tag team. They will be in action next week.
For those who are wondering, Benjamin, who had been rumored to return to the company since he was cleared in March, didn’t officially sign his WWE contract until last week, according to The Wrestling Observer.
