CM Punk remains sidelined from in-ring competition due to a torn triceps. Punk suffered the injury during his AEW World Championship match at All Out in September. Dave Meltzer provided an update on Punk’s recovery on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio.
Meltzer noted that because the recovery period for Punk’s injury is around eight months, he could be cleared to return to the ring around May. This update does not speak to Punk’s status with AEW, which remains in limbo thanks to Punk’s actions following All Out. It remains to be seen if Punk will come back to AEW or not.
