According to Grapsody’s Will Washington, AEW had been making overtures for rapper Rick Ross to make an appearance as far back as August.
Ross made his debut on Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, and his promo segment was all done in one take.

During Wednesday night’s “Birthday Bash For Daddy Ass” segment, Anthony Bowens made a comment about having more guests booked who missed out due to last-minute cancellations. Fightful reports that some additional pitches were made for the segment, though it isn’t known for whom they were for.
