Greetings and happy holidays! This is an exclusive fan Q+A session with Orange Cassidy broadcast on December 18th 2019 via the AEW Discord channel. Credit is given to All Elite Wrestling and the AEW Discord Admin Summer.
The following is a transcript of the Q+A, and we hope to bring you more of these sessions in the coming months. Understandably, Orange Cassidy did not share much as he’s a man of few words. There’s more to this Q+A though, as there’s a couple of cameos from other AEW wrestlers near the end.
‘Freshly Squeezed’ Orange Cassidy Q+A
#1: [Interviewer] Are you ready? – No.
#2: Are you aware Daniel Bryan shaved his hair and looks like you now? – No.
#3: How difficult was it for you to master your moveset while keeping your hands in your pockets? What inspired that? – Very tired.
#4: Besides your hands, what else do you keep in your pockets? – A flash drive that contains the Fast & Furious 5.
#5: Hey OC, got it? – (Lowers his shades) Always.
#6: Do you move slowly in order to not unleash your full power? – Maybe.
#7: How does it feel being so vicious that you almost ended many men’s careers? Will you adopt a safer work style?- (No answer)
#8: Is there anything that makes you lose your cool outside the wrestling ring? – I hope you never find out.
#9: Hey Mr. Cassidy, out of all the matches you’ve had in your career, which one are you the most proud of? – All of them.
#10: What opponent pushed you closest to your limits? – Vin Diesel in a garage.
#11: What would you name your debut album? – Gettin’ it.
#12: How are you able to be exactly where you are needed at exactly the right time? And is it possible to learn this power? – No. And.. I’ll never tell.
#13: What is your dream match? – Me and my bed. Sleeping.
#14: How often? – Sometimes.
#15: Do you actually? – When I feel like it.
#16: How did you come up with the name Orange Cassidy? – It was given to me by birth.
#17: What was a mistake you learned from during your wrestling career? – (Scorpio Sky walks by halfway through the question) Never look at Scorpio Sky walking shirtless across the camera.
Santa Cassidy’s Lap
The Q+A session is interrupted because Orange Cassidy wants to see that sweet body again. AEW Tag Team Champion Scorpio Sky walks in and sits on his lap like he’s Santa Cassidy. He wants a bike for Christmas because he never learned how to ride one, and admits he can’t swim either. Sky asks if this is live.. just as Marko Stunt arrives to also sit on Santa’s lap. He’s never met the real Santa before so he’s happy it happens to be his favorite wrestler.
They ask if OC is alright under their weight, but Marko says he only weighs about 20 pounds. Cassidy can feel Sky’s junk in his trunk (the extra weight he’s put on lately). Scorpio gets off OC’s lap and talks about leg exercises while playing around with selfie poses; and Marko jumps off too. Shortly after, Scorpio & Marko leave as they need to finish the Q&A with a few more questions.
#18: What would you rather fight: a human with bear arms? Or a bear with human arms? – (groan) I don’t know what a bear is, next.
#19: Hey OC, big fan. Do you go milk first? Or cereal first? – I want to know who goes milk first. I’ve never done that. That seems bizarre.
#20: Have you ever considered joining The Dark Order? – I don’t know what that is.
#21: What’s your favorite finisher of all time? – (Lowers his shades intensely with closeup camera shot) The Sleeper Hold. Get it? Nah I don’t care, I don’t care about finishers.
#22: [Interviewer] Do you have any final thoughts or comments for the fans out there? – No.
