We reported over the weekend that Big “CazXL” Cass was involved in a major backstage incident at a WrestlePro event. He reportedly went after Joey Janela and then was punched in the head by WrestlePro owner and new WWE producer/agent Pat Buck. Cass was eventually escorted out of the arena by security and police. Following the incident, Janela declined to press charges and simply said he was hoping that Cass would “get back on the right track.” Cass later issued a statement, apologizing for the incident and confirmed that he had relapsed before the show.

Now, Kevin “KM” Matthews and Pat Buck have commented on the incident. They both sent their best wishes to Cass, which you can see below:

KM: “I’m all about second chances. The second Cass is good to go I will be the first one to happily book him on a future WrestlePro show.” He also added, “Myself and the entire @WrestlePro family are all behind you and wish you all the health and happiness in the world my friend. Can’t wait to see the new and improved CazXL! kick ass bud.”

Buck: “Rooting for you @thecazxl. Us @nyjets fans can endure anything! Godspeed.”

Enzo “nZo” Amore also thanked the fans for their support of Cass after the incident. He said: “Thanx for all the love & support for @TheCaZXL . My man is going to kick out! Cause if he doesn’t I’ll break up the pin. Loyalty is love. I’ve learned a lot about our friendship this past year, & No matter what he decides to do with his future endeavors: Friendship > Business.”
