Former WWE Superstar Jaxson Ryker has gone on to do big things following his in-ring career coming to an end.
Ryker, real name Chad Lail, took to Instagram to announce that he’s now working as a member of the Iredell County, North Carolina Sheriff’s Office. He wrote,
“What an honor. Yesterday September 14 2023 I was sworn in at the Iredell County Sheriffs office. New chapter. New career. May I always wear this badge and uniform with pride”
While Ryker’s Instagram page is set to private, Lucha Libre Online posted a photo from the swearing in ceremony. Ryker retired from in-ring competition last month after being fired by WWE in November of 2021.
Ryker has been embroiled in a world of controversy in recent years, often showing support for former President Donald Trump.
Additionally, he expressed his desire to deploy the military following the George Floyd protests.
And finally, he tweeted the following regarding the Black Lives Matter movement, “I challenge anyone of any color or race to go watch 12 years a slave, the movie and realize how good you all actually have it.”
