AEW will be holding their annual Full Gear event tonight live on pay-per-view. The show will be taking place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. A new report from Fightful has spoilers about two big AEW names that have been spotted in Newark ahead of tonight’s show.
According to the report, House of Black members Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews are rumored to be in Newark for tonight’s show. Malakai Black has not appeared live on AEW television since All Out in early September. There were rumors about a “conditional release” for the former Tommy End, though Black denied those rumors and said that he’d be returning after taking some time off. Black would go on to clarify that he did request his release at one point. Fightful reported that AEW ultimately denied that release request and that both parties eventually got to a “better place.”
As for the other members of the House of Black (Brody King, Julia Hart, and Buddy Matthews), they’ve been off AEW TV since September’s Grand Slam show in New York. Recently, AEW has been airing vignettes teasing the return of the faction. It has yet to be confirmed that the House of Black will be appearing on tonight’s show.
AEW Full Gear will air tonight at 8pm EST, live on pay-per-view.
