Report – At Least Four WWE Superstars Were Fired For Refusing To Get Vaccinated

According to a report from Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast, it is believed that at least four WWE talents who were released on Thursday were fired due to not being vaccinated and refusing to get the shot.

This seems to coincide with a report from the New York Post that noted a “source with knowledge of WWE’s operations” said that one of the reasons Nia Jax was released is that she is unvaccinated and refuses to get the shot.

As many of you know by now, Nia Jax, Eva Marie, Harry Smith, Keith Lee, Mia Yim, Karrion Kross, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Ember Moon, Franky Monet, Oney Lorcan, Scarlett Bordeaux, B-Fab (Hit Row), Jessi Kamea, Zayda Ramier, Trey Baxter, Katrina Cortez, and Jeet Rama were all released from WWE on Thursday.

It should be noted that Nia Jax was removed from television last month and hasn’t been seen since. Sasha Banks, who has also been very outspoken about not getting the vaccine, was also removed from television and just recently returned. Of course, Banks is a much bigger star than Jax and there is no word as of this writing if she eventually got vaccinated. Keith Lee was also kept off television for several months due to “personal reasons”, while his fiancée Mia Yim hasn’t been seen since the RETRIBUTION faction. With that being said, Keith Lee has been working dark matches in recent weeks.

As of this writing, there is no word on which four (or more) talents refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine, which apparently resulted in their releases.

We hope to have more on this later today. Stay tuned to eWrestlingNews.com for the very latest.
