According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, EVOLVE has been dealing with major financial issues lately. The cancellation of their planned WrestleMania week events were said to have been “catastrophic” for them. The company has not issued any statement as of this writing.
There are some rumors that EVOLVE may be looking to sell “pretty much everything” to WWE. This would include their entire tape library.
As many of you know, WWE and EVOLVE have a strong working relationship. A bunch of the current WWE NXT Superstars worked in EVOLVE first. At one point last year, WWE and EVOLVE ran a joint show on the WWE Network.
