We reported last week here on eWrestlingNews.com that Jeff Hardy will likely be working alongside his brother Matt for his “Woken Universe” gimmick when he returns. It’s more than likely that we’ll be seeing “Brother Nero” in WWE. In an update on when he’ll actually be returning, sources say he’s “very close” to being able to return to in-ring action. While Jeff may end up being paired with Matt, WWE plans on continuing the Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt feud.
Jeff Hardy suffered a torn rotator cuff on the August 18th episode of RAW. He underwent surgery for that injury in October and told fans at the WrestleMania on-sale party that he’d be back in time for WrestleMania 34.
