Major League Wrestling (MLW) is reportedly in talks for a new media rights deal.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company is currently in talks for a new media rights deal that they are hoping to announce by the start of fall.
The report notes that MLW is planning to do a “big kick off” but they are unable to do anything until the contract is signed and made official. With no contract currently being signed, things could always fall through.
For what it’s worth, MLW recently cancelled its July 16th show in Cicero, IL. The reason for that is said to be because of the new deal. The company isn’t planning to tape any new episodes of MLW: Fusion until just before the deal would begin.
As of this writing, the next TV taping is scheduled to take place on August 27th in El Paso, Texas.
