According to sources, the planned New Japan Pro Wrestling match between Chris Jericho and Tetsuya Naito is no longer expected to take place at the “NJPW Long Beach” event. For what it’s worth, tickets for that event are already sold out. NJPW officials reportedly want to push the Jericho vs. Naito match for several additional months instead of rushing into it.
Cody Rhodes vs. Kenny Omega is already booked for NJPW’s Long Beach, CA event. While Jericho has not yet been announced for the show, his schedule currently has that date free. There is talk that the Chris Jericho vs. Tetsuya Naito match will take place at NJPW’s Dominion event in June.
