UPDATE: According to sources, part of the reason The Authors of Pain and SAnitY were called up to the main roster was to help fill out WWE’s original plans for a Money in the Bank tag-team ladder match at Sunday’s pay-per-view event.
Some if you may recall that several tag teams cut MITB promos, but then the entire idea of having the match was dropped and so were the promos. With the match being scrapped altogether, this left both teams in limbo.
As of this writing, SAnitY has not made their main roster TV debut yet. They were on the road with the main WWE roster this past weekend, though. As reported yesterday here on eWrestlingNews.com, The Authors of Pain have been dealing with visa issues with one member of the team (see below).
ORIGINAL: According to sources, the reason The Authors of Pain haven’t been on WWE television lately is because one of the two members of the team recently had a visa issue. With that being said, the issues have now been resolved and they are able to return to WWE TV immediately.
WWE’s main focus right now is reportedly on getting “The B Team” and Dolph Ziggler/Drew McIntyre over with the fans as much as possible. The working plan is to bring back The Authors of Pain when they can have more focus put on them. When that happens remains to be seen.
