According to a report from Fightful, the WWE NXT talent being cut are being paid for the next 30 days. Following that period, they are “free to do whatever they want.”
Of course, that likely means that the talents won’t have a no-compete clause after the 30 day period is over. As of this writing, there is no word on if the main roster talents who were released are receiving compensation as well. The talent on the NXT brand are paid far less than those on the RAW and SmackDown rosters.
Deonna Purazzo and Aleksandar Jaksic have both been released from NXT so far. There are other names floating around they we are working to confirm.
